We specialize in the manufacturing and distribution of a select line of sealed lead acid batteries primarily for the UPS and electric wheelchair market.

Origin Battery was founded in mid 2015 as a brain child of Richard Price from High-Tech Battery Solutions, Inc. We have in all about 30 years worth of experience in both local retail and e-commerce based battery sales. Through out the years we have tested many different battery brands from various manufacturers around the world and have been disappointed by the performance, quality, and overall reliability shown by these brands.

Our biggest problem was the lack of control that we had over the important elements (performance, quality, and reliability) that make a great battery. In early 2015 we decided that it was time to take control of these elements by designing our own product with the specifications and quality that we would be confident and proud to sell. The end result was the formation of Origin Battery.
